Hi my name is Matthew Gibson. I have been writing music since my early teens starting out with imitating simple melodies I heard on pop records of the day. Since then I have encompassed a vast variety of influences including Rock, Dance, Classical, Jazz, Pop and Reggae to name just a few. The main focus behind my work is on writing Electronic music fused with a variety of different styles, whilst not being afraid to cross mix genres. |

I am currently taking a BA (Honours) Degree in Professional Media (TV and Film) composition at Northbrook College in West Sussex, UK. I am becoming accomplished at writing music across a wide range of genre and I have put together many compositions within this website to show my versatility. My main ambition is to write music for film, TV, commercials, computer games, video etc etc. i.e. be a media composer.
